THREAD LIFTS
A thread lifts is a procedure whereby a dissolvable suture is inserted under the skin to pull the skin up producing a lifting effect. As compared to the conventional surgical face-lift, thread lifting procedures are quick and are only minimally invasive. While it can produce a facial lifting effect, these inserted threads can have an added benefit of stimulating collagen production, an important skin component for skin firmness which is lost through aging. Thread-lifts are usually combined with other procedures like dermal fillers and botox in order to achieve an optimal aesthetic result.
