CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peeling is a procedure whereby a chemical peel solution, usually an acid, is applied to the treatment area, usually the face, neck and hands, to cause a controlled destruction of the skin. This will result in the exfoliation of the old skin whereby allowing new skin to form and regenerate. Chemical peels can be done at different depths and these treatments can lighten skin pigmentations, reduce fine wrinkles, help reduce acne and make your skin look more radiant. There are many different types of chemical peels and certain chemicals are used for certain skin conditions for example, salicylic acid peel is very effective for treating skin acne. We in Cellesis Clinic will advise on the peels that are best for your skin type and conditions.
